Past Meeting Notes- Conroe
At the Conroe meeting I distributed contact forms for a member database. We discussed educational activities for the club.
Those included:
- a fun match for conformation, obedience and rally at Michael Stetlers
- a fun match in Elgin at their city park with a covered pavillion
- breeder judges that could give written critiques of participating dogs
- supported entries and a regional specialty at Travis County KC show supported by TCKC
- herding test and trial in a central location --- the "yellow rose arena" - I don't know if I got the name right. Appropriate stock for tests and trials.
Note: we may partner with an organization or wait until we get our own insurance for herding.
We discussed voting online and at Nolan River for:
(1) TACDC board members
We discussed forming a 5 member executive board that would include a
treasurer and a secretary.
I nominated Noel De Bruin for Treasurer.
Grace nominated Sylvia Herbert for Treasurer.
My recollection is that during the meeting the following people expressed
an interest in serving on the board:
Jacquelyn Johnson
Peggy Jennings
Michael Stettler
